Last Mile Logistics
After central distribution is complete, goods must be delivered to their final destination, a stage commonly referred to as the "last mile." LCV in Pharma / Multitemp Logistics
Keeping the cold chain intact can be difficult, especially in last mile pharma or multitemp logistics. By optimising the loading space, the operator has better control of the temperature. Our SmartLok Tempwall60 Van has been optimised for LCV. It's completely customisable and comes standard with the most optimum closure to prevent cold air leakage, including specific foldable corner flaps, which are designed to accommodate the wheel arches to ensure a robust seal.
SmartLok Shoring Pole
With the SmartLok Shoring Poles, it's easy to keep cargo in place in the LCV. The SmartLok Shoring Poles are easily adjustable in length and therefore fit between the tracks. The shoring poles are also very convenient for clamping longitudinal goods, such as doors or plates to prevent them from falling over when taking a turn. In an instant, the aluminium shoring pole is positioned (horizontally or vertically) between the SmartLok Rails or Combi Poles.
Due to the multiplugs, it is also possible to fit the pole in any other type of rail. With an adjustable range, they fit in almost every van! Flexibility to the max.
SmartLok Double Decking
With our compatible system of Combi Poles, Tracks and Beams it becomes easy to create a second floor inside any LCV. Specifically designed to optimise the space, it makes organising cargo easier, especially for cargo like non-stackable goods. Position the Combi Poles over the length of the vehicle, connected to the SmartLok Rails (fully recessed, semi-recessed or surface mounted). With the SmartLok Beams you can either be used to create a decking surface or for shoring.
