Double Decking Transport

A Double Decking solution is ideal in situations where cargo can’t be piled on top of each other, e.g pallet with boxes. Creating a second deck enables you to use the complete capacity of the vehicle. Our solutions can be used even with mixed loading heights.

Compatible With All Airline Equipment

Flexibility in our believe, means creating a system on the spot, depending on the cargo that needs to be transported safely from A to B. With the LayerLok AF you will be able to use airline equipment such as beams (for Double Decking or shoring), shoring poles, lashing straps and fittings – even though not manufactured by LoadLok. The LayerLok AF Beams have a decking capacity of 1000kg, the heavy duty version can be used with payloads up to 1350kg. 

Flexibility also means it can be installed in any kind of vehicle. We offer LayerLok AF Tracks as semi-recessed and surface mounted. Both available as single and double. This Double Decking system can be used completely captive. Meaning equipment can not get lost or stolen.

Lightest Airline Solution

At the Research and Development department in Hirwaun (United Kingdom), our engineers have achieved the impossible. Without making any compromises on performance, compatibility nor installation methods; they have created the lowest semi-recessed track profile (14,5mm – only 4mm above surface!). We saw it as our objective to create a system that maximizes the volume and payload of the vehicle. 

The LayerLok AF will offer the highest possible insulation values (when used in a Reefer) as more foam can be used to bond the track to the vehicle. Besides, the complete system weight has been decreased. Resulting in a lower gross vehicle mass, higher payload thus lower cost per kilometer and total cost of ownership to the transport company.

PIEK Certified

Governments defined standards for noise emission during loading and unloading during nighttime deliveries. A PIEK certificate is issued for vehicles and equipment operating under 60dB(A) which will be suitable for use in nighttime deliveries without causing noise disturbance. 

The LayerLok AF has been approved and certified according to PIEK standards. With this certificate, the LayerLok AF in a captive load securing as well as in a Double Decking configuration are an ideal solution for distribution during nighttime in city centers. This certificate is in combination with our specifically designed PIEK Beam in combination with trigger bar.

The LayerLok AF operates by adding a second deck within your trailer, allowing you to safely transport cargo that cannot be piled on top of each other, such as pallets with boxes. This system can be installed as semi-recessed or surface-mounted tracks, both available in single and double configurations.

The LayerLok AF is ideal for:

The LayerLok AF tracks come in several configurations:

  • Semi-Recessed Tracks (5051, 5053): Profile height of 14.5mm (only 4mm above the surface).
  • Materials: Made of high-quality aluminum, available in anodized or non-anodized finishes.
  • Customization: Tracks can be customized in length, profile width, and fixing hole specifications.

The LayerLok AF beams offer various load capacities:

  • 1841: Standard beam with a decking capacity of 1000kg and shoring capacity of 900 DAN.
  • 1841HD: Heavy-duty beam with a decking capacity of 1350kg and shoring capacity of 1125 DAN.
  • 1848: Standard beam with a decking capacity of 1000kg and shoring capacity of 900 DAN.
  • 1848HD: Heavy-duty beam with a decking capacity of 1350kg and shoring capacity of 1125 DAN.
